New Branding Features in Apple Business Connect
Apple announced new features coming soon to Apple Business Connect that will seamlessly integrate your business’s visual brand identity into Apple products and services, including Apple Mail, Tap to Pay and Phone Calls. These features will give businesses — even those without a physical location — more control over how they appear to over 1 billion Apple users around the world.
What is Apple Business Connect?
Apple Business Connect is a free platform that allows businesses to control how they appear across Apple’s ecosystem, including Apple Maps, Wallet, Siri, and other Apple services. It behaves similarly to Google Business Profiles, where businesses can claim their profile and optimize their profile with key business and contact information, as well as add photos and manage reviews. A verified Apple Business Connect profile will help businesses increase their visibility across Apple features such as Apple Maps and Siri results.

Branding Features in Apple Business Connect
The new features announced this week by Apple aim to further optimize Apple Business Connect profiles by increasing visual recognition, credibility and trustworthiness of brands across Apple products and services.
Branded Mail: Verified businesses can display their brand name and logo in emails to customers, so their emails stand out in the Mail app and are more easily recognizable. Businesses can sign up for Branded Mail today, and their logo will begin appearing to customers later this year.
Tap to Pay: Verified businesses can now choose to display their branded logo, rather than a category icon, when accepting payments through Tap to Pay on iPhone, so customers know they’re making a payment to a trusted and verified business.
Enhanced Phone Call ID: Next year, verified businesses will showcase the official Apple Business Connect verification badge, profile name and logo in the caller ID for Apple users, making it easier for consumers to recognize legitimate calls.
What This Means For Your Business
Google is not the only company to focus on when it comes to search engine optimization (SEO). Other leading companies like Apple are rapidly adding new services to help businesses gain visibility online outside of the search engine giant. As the most popular smartphone brand on the market, the Apple ecosystem is just as important to focus on when it comes to digital marketing. If you don’t already have a verified Apple Business Connect profile, that’s the first place to start. It’s just as easy as verifying and setting up your Google Business Profile. Once you have a verified Apple listing, you’ll want to fully optimize your profile with vital business information, contact information and branding to increase visibility and credibility with Apple users.
